All I can find that have more than just the basics (Michaels, Hobby-Lobby) are in Georgia and North Carolina. Isn't there a place in nashville that sells quantities of fondant, gum paste and has a large selection of cake and candy decorating supplies? Thanks

Two shops that I frequent are Sugar Drop in Brentwood and SweetWise off Music Valley Drive near Opryland Hotel. Sugar Drop is very small while SweetWise is large and has just about everything you might be looking for. SweetWise also has a great, non-marshmallow fondant that doesn't taste like crap, but I can't remember the brand name. They'll know and give you a sample taste, though.

Yes, the best place in town, Homestyle Bakery on Murfreesboro Road right off Bell Road. I've been buying all occasions cakes and pastries from here for over 20 years and have always been satisfied. Call them today. You'll be happy you did. MrsB

I second Sugar Drop. True, it's small but they'll happily order anything you need and have always given me great advice. Nice people who know their stuff.

Any Cake Decorating Suppliers in Nashville? If you haven't received a response to your question or you haven't found a place yet, the answer is yet. It is SWEET WISE, Nashville's Premier Cake Candy and Pastry Supply Store. It is located at 2416 Music Valley Drive, Nashville, TN (near the Opryland Hotel). Up until 4 weeks ago I was the store manager there, they have everything you asked about and much, much more. --Lydia
