Stardew Valley Gardening Pot Crash

Cutscene triggers at some point after completing the greenhouse, when you exit the Farmhouse between 6am and 11:30am on a day when it's not raining. Sometimes it seems it can take awhile, just kind of have to wait for it.

Think it might be kind of random. Seen some people say they get it in a day or two and some wait weeks or more. So idk.

Garden pot is pretty useless anyway.

Also, hearts with Evelyn don't seem to matter. She gave me the plans and I don't have any hearts with her.

Yes, but greenhouse is better for that. Greenhouse lets you use sprinklers; sprinklers do not work with garden pots.

All in all, more work than they are worth.

The pots would be SO much more useful earlier in the game, before you have a greenhouse. The fact that they unlock at the same time is so superfluous.

i dunno but i cant plant anything in greenhouse. does the soil reset every day?

Are you tilling the soil first?

Also, I've noticed that if you don't plant anything right away, the soil will flatten itself out by the next day. I've never seen empty soil last more than a day in the greenhouse. It clears at a more variable rate outside.

well duh. so why my soil on my farm is not flattened yet? i have hard times making buildings because of holes in soil

Think there's a random chance any tilled tile without seeds will become untilled. Or you can use the pickaxe to do it if you don't want to wait. With the greenhouse, there's like a 100% chance tilled tiles will revert back if not seeded.

You explained it well.

She appears on your main house door after completing the greenhouse the next morning if u have 2 hearts at least. I can confirm that since I experienced it twice. If not enough hearts she will come when u have 2.

Don't need any hearts. I've got the garden pot recipe on the day after unlocking the greenhouse without having any hearts for Evelyn

The pots are actually very useful. I have my greenhouse with all 18 f. trees + pots on missing spots and have extra harvests. Only cons are sprinklers cannot water them but upgraded watering tool will take u less than a min.

Weird since I unlocked them twice.
First time I already had full hearts with her on year 7 or something, was my first game.

And the second game it was my first Winter with 1 heart and nothing happened. I kept gifting her for a few days and when I had 2 hearts she came.

I have 5 hearts with her lol
